Investiture Ceremony - 2nd May 2026

Himalaya Public Sr. Sec. School proudly organized the Investiture Ceremony for Session 2026–27 on 2nd May 2026 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Prefectorial Board and inspired students to uphold the values of leadership, discipline, and responsibility.

The programme commenced with the gracious welcome of Hon’ble Principal Ms. Aruna Sivaraj, Administrator Ms. Radha Ratnam, and esteemed alumna CA Shikha Gupta. The outgoing Prefectorial Board of Session 2025–26 was warmly acknowledged for their dedicated service to the school.

The highlight of the event was the Badging Ceremony, where Principal Ms. Aruna Sivaraj conferred badges upon the newly appointed student leaders, officially constituting the Prefectorial Board for Session 2026–27. This was followed by an inspiring address by the outgoing Head Boy, Nikhil Thakur, who shared his experiences and motivated the new council members.

The solemn Candle Lighting Ceremony symbolized the passing of responsibility, followed by the Oath Taking Ceremony, where the newly elected leaders pledged to serve the school with sincerity and commitment. The new Head Boy, Himank Gupta, then addressed the gathering with confidence and gratitude.

A special leadership session was conducted by alumna CA Shikha Gupta, who enlightened the students with her valuable words on leadership, determination, and success.

The programme also included the Presentation of Appreciation Certificates by Principal Ms. Aruna Sivaraj to deserving students for their commendable efforts and achievements. Thereafter, Principal Ms. Aruna Sivaraj delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the council members to lead by example and uphold the proud ethos of the institution.

The ceremony concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks. The event was a grand success and left everyone motivated to work together for the progress and glory of the school.
