Independence Day Celebration 2026
Himalaya Public Sr. Sec. School, Rohini, celebrated Independence Day 2026 with great patriotic fervour, enthusiasm and pride. The celebration was organised on the school premises in the presence of the Chief Guest, distinguished guests, Principal, staff members and students.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, followed by the NCC Guard of Honour, which set a solemn and dignified tone for the occasion. The ceremonial flag hoisting was then conducted, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, as the entire school community stood together in respect and pride.
The NCC Parade showcased discipline, coordination and dedication, reflecting the values of responsibility and service to the nation. This was followed by an energetic physical exercise and drill display, demonstrating the students' fitness, synchronisation and team spirit.
The cultural segment added vibrancy to the celebration through patriotic musical performances and dance presentations, which beautifully portrayed the spirit of freedom, unity and love for the nation. The performances were received with great appreciation and enthusiasm by the gathering.
The celebration concluded on a patriotic and inspiring note, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride in the nation and a commitment to uphold the values of freedom, unity, discipline and responsible citizenship.
The programme was a befitting tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and a celebration of the enduring spirit of India's freedom and unity.
