Tribute Program on Mahatma Gandhi's 77th martyrdom day of Mahatma Gandhi

On 30th January 2025, the students of our school visited Gandhi Smriti to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. After several days of dedicated practice, the students had the honor of presenting devotional songs in remembrance of Bapu. It was a proud and inspiring moment for them to perform in front of esteemed dignitaries.

The prayer meeting at Gandhi Smriti was graced by the presence of Hon'ble Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla. On this special occasion, renowned classical singer Smt. Kaushiki Chakraborty also presented bhajans, adding a soulful and spiritual essence to the event.

The students performed four devotional songs, reflecting the values and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. A particularly memorable moment was when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi personally interacted with the students, leaving them inspired and elated.

Following the prayer meeting, the students explored the Gandhi Smriti and Gandhi Darshan museums, where they learned about significant events from Mahatma Gandhi's life and gained deeper insights into his contributions. This visit was not only a musical learning experience but also an opportunity for students to understand and connect with Gandhian philosophy—truth, non-violence, and peace. The program reinforced their awareness of these values and encouraged them to incorporate them into their lives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the school management and our esteemed principal for their unwavering support and motivation, which enables us to participate in this prestigious event every year. The school community hopes to continue being part of such enriching programs in the future, contributing to the holistic development of the students.
