76th Republic Day Celebration

The Himalaya Public School celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 24th January 2025.

The event was graced by the presence of Principal Madam Aruna Sivaraj and Administrator,Madam Radha Ratnam, who were given a warm welcome by the NCC cadets with a well-executed drill presentation.

The celebration began with the salute and a splendid march past, showcasing the discipline and dedication of the students. The audience was then inspired by an eloquent speech delivered by Aarya Aggarwal of class 8A, followed by a heartfelt poem by Sanyam Singh of class 8C, which beautifully captured the spirit of patriotism. Monika Singhal, a faculty member,delivered a thought-provoking speech, emphasizing the significance of Republic Day and the values enshrined in the Constitution.

Principal,Aruna Sivaraj also shared an inspiring message, urging students to contribute to the nation's progress and uphold the ideals of democracy. Administrator,Radha Ratnam addressed the gathering with her encouraging words, inspiring everyone to uphold their duties as citizens. The ceremony included the Voter's Pledge, reinforcing the importance of active participation in the democratic process. The celebration concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all present.

The event was a fitting tribute to the nation and served as a reminder of the responsibilities that come with freedom and democracy.
