‘Sitare Zameen Par’ Touches Young Hearts

Hindustan Times, as part of its student engagement initiative, hosted a special screening of the thought-provoking film Sitare Zameen Par at G3S theatre for its student subscribers from Classes 4 to 12 across three days. The screening was held in well-organized batches:
Students of Classes 7 to 10 watched the movie on 8th July
Classes 11 and 12 attended the screening on 9th July
Classes 4,5 and Class 6 were treated to the film on 10th July

The movie, known for its sensitive portrayal of a child's struggle with learning differences and the role of a compassionate mentor, was met with overwhelming appreciation from the young viewers. It struck an emotional chord with students, who were seen deeply engaged and moved by the film’s message of empathy, acceptance, and the power of understanding.

The initiative not only provided students with a break from routine academics but also delivered a strong message about emotional intelligence and inclusivity. Teachers accompanying the students also acknowledged Hindustan Times for curating such meaningful experiences.
