Glimpses from the remarkable Gandhi Jayanti celebration at HPS (Assembly and visit to Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti)

Celebrating Gandhi Jayanti, is always a great and noble occasion at Himalaya Public Sr. Secondary School, Rohini. On 2nd October, 2024, the School Principal, Ms. Aruna Sivaraj paid her tributes to the Father of Nation along with students. She addressed the children to follow the precepts as set by the great Soul.She emphasized that amidst the tension torn world of today, each one of us need to understand the importance of peace and non violence to help maintain it for a positive growth . Later Himalayan students visited the holy Precincts of Gandhi smriti and Darshan samiti wherein they participated in the Prayer meeting and presented a soulful rendition. The day awakened a deeper sense of patriotism and commitment among the students and they could realize fully well that Mahatma Gandhi was the true epitome of truth and non violence.
