Earth Day Celebration

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year to encourage people to pledge support for environmental protection . On this day, Earth Day, organisation organisers coordinate different events across 193 countries in the world. Earth day was first celebrated on 22 April 1970 and observed every year since then .This day gives us an opportunity to stop and reflect on the state of earth, the planet we call our home . It gives us the opportunity to think about ways in which we can protect our environment from further deterioration.

Himalaya Public school conducted various activities such as special morning assembly, poster and slogan making etc, in the month of April. The program was a huge success under the guidance of our principal maam Aruna Sivraj .
