The Commerce Department organized an interactive and educational activity titled “Depiction of Services by Himalayan Bank” for students of Classes VI to VIII. The activity was planned and conducted by the students of Class XI (Commerce stream) to create financial awareness among younger learners.

As part of the program, the senior students explained and demonstrated various banking services such as saving accounts, fixed deposits, loans, ATM usage, online banking, and customer care. The concepts were presented creatively through charts, models, skits, and role plays, making it easy for the younger students to understand the functioning of a bank.

The initiative helped the junior students gain insight into the importance of banks in everyday life and promoted the habit of saving and financial responsibility. The Class XI students also developed communication, leadership, and presentation skills through the process.

The session was highly appreciated by teachers and students alike for its informative and innovative approach. It proved to be a valuable learning experience that linked classroom knowledge with practical understanding.
