Annual Day Celebration 2026

The Annual Day of Himalaya Public Senior Secondary School was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur on 7th February 2026. The programme was organized on a magnificent scale and witnessed the presence of distinguished dignitaries and eminent personalities from the field of education and administration.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Ms. Vedetta Reddy, IAS, Director of Education. The event was further graced by the esteemed presence of **Guest of Honour Colonel Gurpreet Singh**, Mr. Suresh Chand Meena, Deputy Director of Education, and Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Deputy Director of Education. Their gracious presence added great prestige to the celebration. They appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to strive for excellence in all spheres of life.

The theme of this year’s Annual Day was *Mahabharat*. The students magnificently presented the epic through captivating dance performances, powerful drama, and melodious singing. The script and presentation were thoughtfully designed under the guidance of **Respected Chairman Mr. K.C. Gupta** and the esteemed members of the management, who consistently motivated and guided the students. The performances beautifully conveyed moral values such as righteousness, truth, duty, and respect. Equal importance and appreciation were given to every participant, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the institution.

The entire celebration was conducted successfully under the able leadership of Principal Ms. Aruna Sivraj. Her dedication, meticulous planning, and visionary leadership ensured the grand success of the event. She encouraged the students at every stage and appreciated the collective efforts of the staff and participants.
