Udaan'25, a cultural Fiesta celebrated by Pre-Primary and Primary Wing students

The Pre-Primary and Primary Wing students of Himalaya Public Sr. Sec School, Rohini celebrated UDAAN - a cultural fiesta, on 13 September,2025 with a zeal and grandeur in the school premises.The event was centered on the theme 'Incredible India'.The eminent guests who graced the occasion were the Chairperson, Madam Pushpa Gupta, the School Director, Madam Ritu Bansal and the School Administrator, Madam Radha Rathnam. The event commenced with a soulful rendition of Ganesh Vandana by class - I students followed by a musical parody by KG and class -I students.The dazzling dance performances of the Nursery Students on nostalgic patriotic songs were fully enjoyed by the audience. A smart and bright student ,Dhaanya Chandla of class -I , astounded the gathering with her expressive words. The K.G. class students presented a mesmerizing show on Unity in Diversity. Class I students turned the entire atmosphere into a celebration hall as they portrayed the mythological stories related to all major Indian Festivals.

Some mothers of Nursery class students left everyone spellbound with their dance performances of various states.

The Himalaya Ratan awards were conferred to the allrounder students of classes Nursery, K G. and I for their outstanding achievements, by the guests of honour, which added glory to the occasion. All the performances were a treat for the eyes of the audience and were wrapped up by grand finale.

A few interesting games were also arranged for the audience in which some parents actively participated and won prizes. The guests of honour, the School Director, Madam Ritu Bansal and the School Administrator , Madam Radha Rathnam, also addressed the august gathering and appreciated each student and teacher for their unwavering hard work and for putting up the remarkable show.

They also shared their insightful words of wisdom.
The programme culminated by proposing a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
The event was a grand success.
Sumptuous refreshment was also arranged for the parents and staff members by the school management.
