Special Assembly – Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration by the student of classes VI-VIII

A *Special Assembly* on the occasion of *Ganesh Chaturthi* was conducted on *27 August 2025* with great enthusiasm and devotion. The programme began with a soulful *Ganesh Vandana* sung by the school choir, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. This was followed by a traditional *Ganesh Pooja*, performed with devotion to mark the auspicious beginning of the celebration.

The assembly continued with a warm welcome and introduction, followed by the *Thought for the Day* that emphasized wisdom and positivity. A *speech* was then delivered highlighting the origin of the festival, the manner in which it is celebrated across the country, and the importance of eco-friendly practices.

A beautiful *poem* dedicated to Lord Ganesha was recited, and a vibrant *dance performance* set to a devotional Ganesh song added energy and joy to the celebration.

The Principal addressed the gathering with an inspiring *message, urging students to imbibe the values of wisdom, respect, and humility from Lord Ganesha and to celebrate festivals responsibly. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the anchors and the rendition of the **National Anthem*.
