Pocso Committee (Poster Making Competition)

There are many social evils prevalent in our society today like Child Sexual Abuse, Dowry, Suicides and many more. To increase the awareness of students on social extremism, a Poster Making Competition on ' Freedom to live – Voice Out Against Sexual Harassment ' was organised on 13October , 2023 in Himalaya Public Sr. Sec. School. There was prize distribution ceremony also in the afternoon. The guest of honour was Justice Ankur Panghal, Secretary North Delhi legal service authority, Rohini Court. He appreciated the efforts made by Principal Madam and POCSO committee members to make the Students aware about POCSO ACT by honouring them with appreciation certificates. He motivated all the students also by presenting them trophies and participation certificates. Our Principal Madam Aruna Sivaraj and Administrator, Madam Radha Ratnam also graced the occasion with their benign presence. Students from all the wings like primary, secondary and senior secondary wing participated whole heartedly and expressed their views and thoughts through Posters. They were filled with enthusiasm in their presentation. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Bharti Nagpal, POCSO Senior coordinator. She promised to continue with this zeal to sensitise students about POCSO acts.
