Sensitisation Workshop on Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)

A Sensitisation Workshop on the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) was organised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) on 24th December 2025 for the students of Class XII at Our school . The workshop aimed to create awareness among students about ITEP and to guide them in exploring teaching as a viable and rewarding career option.

During the session, the resource persons explained the structure and duration of the ITEP, along with detailed information on the curriculum, eligibility criteria, admission process, and career prospects associated with the programme. Emphasis was laid on how ITEP integrates academic learning with professional teacher preparation, enabling students to become well-trained educators at an early stage.

The workshop was interactive and informative, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the programme. Students were encouraged to actively participate and reflect on the role of teachers in nation-building.

Overall, the workshop proved to be highly beneficial. It helped students gain valuable insights into the teaching profession and motivated many of them to consider teaching as a promising and respectable career choice.
