CUET Orientation Program for School Principals and Counselors

The CUET Orientation Program was conducted by CBSE to support NEP 2020's emphasis on career guidance and student well-being. The program aimed to equip school principals and counselors with knowledge about CUET (Common University Entrance Test), introduced by UGC. CUET is now a standardized admission test for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses across several Indian universities. The orientation provided a comprehensive overview of:

Participants were trained to:
Guide students in choosing subjects based on career aspirations and also assist in creating effective study plans and preparation strategies. It address student concerns and queries regarding CUET . It aim to support students in managing exam-related stress.

The session also focused on enhancing the communication and counseling skills of educators. The orientation aligned with CBSE's broader initiatives to strengthen the career counseling system in schools. The CUET Orientation Program was a valuable initiative by CBSE under the chairperson of Shri Rahul Singh. It empowered school leaders and counselors to provide better academic and emotional support to students, helping them make informed career choices.
